Collaborating with Advent Health and other Rotary Clubs, we had two wells installed for a Haitian Hospital.

Our members have helped other organizations on a day of packing meals for Haiti.

Our club joined forces with RC of Rockford MI and RC Clover Park WA to provide $4500 to an elementary school in San Marcos, Puerto Plata, DR. This program provides a teacher
Hogar de Ancianos Kitchen Equipment 2023
Our club joined forces with Rotary Club of Puerto Plata DR to provide kitchen equipment in a nursing home that is expanding to help the growing elderly population. It's a slow process that displaced the kitchen work to outdoors until the expansion is completed. By providing for the walk in cooler and commercial stove, the cooking will be returned to the renovated kitchen space.
KIVA 2022/3 & 2023/4
Members of the club began with $200 to use for loans around the world through kiva.com The members set a criteria of $25 for women entrepreneurs in different countries. The members have learned a lot about needs and the creativity to have income to help their families.
A big advantage of this program is the payback of the loans. The funds are then used for more loans. There have been over 40 loans made by simply reinvesting the money repaid.
