Angel Tree
HVES gives us gift information for 30-35 children who have a Christmas Wish List. Rotarians volunteer to take one or more lists and shop for the items. Unwrapped, the gifts are put into a Christmas bag per child and delivered back to the school. The school makes sure the parent picks them up.
Dolphin Depot
We help HVES students shop the store of donated items with their Dolphin Dollars. The students earn Dolphin Dollars with good behavior, good attitude, good study habits, helping others etc. Teachers tell us this has had a positive impact. Quarterly, we staff 4 days of 2hour shifts which takes 16 volunteers.
